First Responder 2.0

For first responders, physical fitness can often be the difference between life or death, as such for those who work in such a capacity we view maintaining a high level of physical fitness not as a choice, but rather as a responsibility. We train dozens of first responders on a daily basis in our gym, as well as training those who are preparing for fire/police academies and/or military selections. To date, we have had a 100% successful pass-rate for all athletes who have attended police/fire academies and military selection. Our training programs are not 'easy', but they are designed with a purpose, are structured and progressive, and they work. If you are willing, we can help you reach your training goals and prepare you for the requirements of the job.

These programs have been designed by one of our owners/coaches who is also an active first responder (ground/flight medic) and who thus understands the physical demands these professions place on us. The programs are 4 weeks in duration with 4 workouts each week each lasting approximately 60 min or less. The key attributes developed are:

·      Strength

·      Power

·      High-output/low-volume anaerobic work-capacity

·      Core work

·      Developing an aerobic base of fitness
